Providence Foundation Intern Program
The Program
We offer two different intern programs:
- 3 Week Internship
- 9 Month Internship
Both programs are similar in content, although the 9-Month Internship includes additional training in other areas of ministry.
What
One primary goal of the Providence Foundation has been to provide in-depth teaching and training to better prepare people to apply Biblical principles of liberty in their life and community. Our Intern Programs are an excellent way to accomplish this goal.
The programs are for people of all ages who are interested in learning, researching, writing, and/or working on practical projects (such as PowerPoint Presentations, website items, administrative projects). Most interns will be involved in all of these.
The object of the internship is for the interns to produce something that will be valuable to them, the Providence Foundation, and those we affect. Areas of study can vary widely. We will have some specific items of research, but are flexible to work with the interest of the intern. The end products may be papers, presentations, scripts, seminar texts, or foundational research to assist in later publications.
Intern Director
Interns will work directly under the supervision of Stephen McDowell, President of the Providence Foundation, or Mark Beliles, Chairman.
When and Where
The both programs will be held at the Providence Foundation offices in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Cost
The 3-week program is free, and the 9-month Great Commission program costs $900. Interns are responsible for their own housing and food.
